Iron Ladle Brick is made of fused corundum(or sintered corundum, special grade bauxite hamotte), graphite and silicon carbide as main raw materials.

Also known as Alumina Silicon Carbide Carbon Brick (Al₂O₃-SiC-C Brick), this refractory material is especially suitable for demanding ironmaking environments where the ladle lining is repeatedly exposed to high-temperature molten iron, slag attack and thermal cycling.

Al₂O₃-SiC-C Brick for Iron Ladle Lining

 

Alumina Silicon Carbide Carbon Brick combines the properties of alumina-based raw materials, silicon carbide and carbon to create a refractory system suitable for ironmaking applications.

Each component contributes different functional properties:

Alumina-based materials provide refractoriness, structural strength and resistance to high-temperature wear.

Silicon carbide contributes to erosion resistance, thermal conductivity and thermal shock performance.
